 Renaissance and the March of Dimes®
Saving babies, together®
Renaissance is proud to support the March of Dimes in its campaign "Saving babies, together." In this effort, Renaissance is once again assembling teams of walkers and runners to participate in the Pittsburgh WalkAmerica® event to be held on the last Sunday of April.
WalkAmerica supports pioneering research and innovative programs that save babies born prematurely or with birth defects. Since its beginning in 1970, WalkAmerica has raised more than $1 billion to help give babies a fighting chance.
The event last year was an unqualified success.
Team Renaissance walked in memory of Savannah, the daughter of Cindy, a
Renaissance employee. Another employee, Terri and her husband, designed,
created and donated team t-shirts, which featured a hand sketch of
Savannah on the front and the Renaissance logo on the back. The employees
and friends of Renaissance raised money, had lots of fun and the t-shirt
was awarded the "Best Link to the Mission Award" by the March of Dimes
judges.
